From many Vietnamese Dessert Recipes in our beautiful country, today I decide to introduce one of stunning Desserts and it is Vietnamese Baked Banana Cake (Banh Chuoi Nuong). Banana is very popular in here so this recipe is the most likely dessert. If you like banana this recipe will be good choice.
Vietnamese Baked Banana Cake (Banh Chuoi Nuong)
There are 3 steps to make this stunning dessert. Moreover, the process is very simple, you will satisfy when you enjoy one of amazing Vietnamese Dessert Recipes like this dish. Please follow our instruction carefully.
Ingredients:
- 1 Bunch of banana (about 1.5kg)
- 1Can of condensed milk
- 1.5 Cup of sugar
- 500 ml Coconut milk
- 750 ml of warm water
- 1 Sandwich
- Wine/Beer.
Process:
Step 1: Remove the cover of banana. Then, longitudinal slice the banana to 3 parts. Marinate these bananas with ½ cup sugar and 50 ml of wine (Whisky or Rum). Slightly mix it, don’t make the banana breaking. Wait about 2 hour.
Step 2: When waiting for marinate banana. You can add sandwich, coconut milk, sugar and water into clear pan. Then, mixes them until the sandwich become expand.
Step 3: Add the banana (both banana and marinating mixture) into the pan which has sandwich and mixture of coconut milk. Next is grilling. Turn the oven at 150 degrees about 45 minutes. Like many other Vietnamese Dessert Recipes, this cake will be more delicious if the grilling time is longer, but do not grill over 1hour.
Finally, your dessert is already to serve. Moreover, you can maintain this cake on fridge about 7 days. This cake will be good dessert for meal. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "sandwich". Are you referring to sandwich bread? The picture looks like flour. Thank you for your help
