From menu About Vietnam post, Can Tho City (Thành Phố Cần Thơ) is located in the center of the Mekong Delta. It is contiguous to 5 provinces: An Giang on the north, Dong Thap on the north-east, Hau Giang on the south, Kien Giang on the west, and Vinh Long on the east. Can Tho has a complex of rivers and canals such as Hau, and Can Tho rivers, Thot Not, O Mon canals. Among them, the Hau Riveris considered a benefactor of this region, since yearly floods deposit large quantities of alluvia to the rice fields.

Can Tho has simple, poetic beauty with well-off villages under shade of coconut trees. It is wonderful to take a boat trip along the riverbanks on fine weather days. On the east bank of Hau River is Ninh Kieu Wharf, which is well known for its beautiful location. Other interesting places are Bang Lang Stock Sanctuary, Can Tho and My Khanh Tourist gardens and Can Tho Market.
Can Tho also has many delicious foods that you should enjoy when visiting there. One of them is Grilled snails with pepper.
There are more than 10 street vendors selling this dish in Can Tho. So you could find it easily. Snails are grilled with the pepper, so the taste of this dish is really different with other. You may taste the sweet of snails, the spicy of pepper and the fantastic delicious of fish sauce.
Baked rolled Cái Răng:
You may eat baked rolled in many provinces in Vietnam. However the taste of baked rolled in Cái Răng is completely weird. It based on the special sauce there and the cooking way of cookers. I could not describe the tasty of this dish, so you have to enjoy it by yourself
